Russian President Vladimir Putin was named the sexiest man in a Russian. Eighteen percent of men and seventeen percent of women voted for him in a national poll.
Who said that little guys cannot reach the stars? A great example that your height is no blocker is Russian president Vladimir Putin.
Despite being only 5 feet and 7 inches tall (170 cm), he managed to get the heart of his countrymen and countrywomen and win a national poll for the hottest man in the country.
The poll was published by Superjob.ru job board on Friday. It reveals that 18% of men and 17% of women named President Vladimir Putin as Russia’s most handsome man.
Vladimir Putin, who is 68 years old, was the only contestant to receive double digits in the questionnaire.
“Russians still call Vladimir Putin the most attractive famous man in the country,” Superjob.ru declared, despite the 1% dip in his rating from last year.
“Neither actors nor athletes or other politicians can compete with him today,” it said.
On the other hand, 19 percent of participating men marked themselves as the most handsome men, while 18% of women said there were no sexy men in Russia.
Putin to remain in office until 2036
Winning a sexiness contest is not the only reason for a celebration Vladimir Putin currently has. Yesterday, he signed a new Russian constitution that allows him to run for the presidency twice again once his term is over.
Putin is currently serving his fourth presidential term that will end in 2024. The new legislation allows him to run for two additional terms meaning that he could remain in office until 2036.
